They jumped in our new prams and set off into the car park. On their way to the park, they stopped and waited for traffic to pass and crossed the road.
They walked to the enclosed park area and set up a picnic blanket with musical instruments and books. They all sat down and had a big drink of water before they ventured off to explore.
The children discovered all sorts of exciting things in the playground and used their gross motor skills on the swing, climbing frame, rocking animals and spinning roundabout.
While they were there, the educators pointed out the water, birds and a dog which they watched and looked at from a distance. They then discovered bark that had fallen from the big gum tree which they have collected and brought back to use tomorrow to paint with.
What an exciting adventure!
