Welcome to Cubby Care Mooroobool
As we gather on sacred land let us acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land, the Gimuy Walubara of the Yidinji in which our service sits in the heart of Gimuy Walubara Country. Muntajima Entryway has been named in recognition of this beloved elder’s contribution to the community and to children particularly. She raised and nurtured countless children, both Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal and taught the Gimuy values of kindness, caring, sharing, empathy and patience which aligns with Cubby Care Early Learning Mooroobool vision and values.
We are a family of educators who are committed to creating a learning environment that enhances children’s development and opportunities to discover new experiences. Our service is a small, homely family centre that is surrounded by beautiful natural environments that get children involved in sustainable experiences that enhance their knowledge, their care and their development towards positive attitudes and values on becoming part of a sustainable future.
Early Years Learning Framework
Our Educators believe in establishing a respectful, secure, and caring relationship with all children and families. Developing this relationship is a crucial sense of belonging in which is central to being and becoming in guiding children while embracing their uniqueness and the possibilities of who they may become.
Extra-curricular Experiences
Swimming assists with health and fitness, cognitive processes, social interactions, and safety. Our ongoing commitment and partnership with C-Me Swim School educate our children on an essential life skill. We encourage our 3-year-old + to get into the water and learn about water safety and swimming at an additional cost.
Government-approved Kindergarten Programs
Our Qualified and Experienced educators embed The Early Years Framework, The Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines. The three key elements that are within the framework are our Principles, Practices and Learning Outcomes. Together these elements are used to create learning programs that are reflective of our individual centre, children, and families.
Nutritious meals
We offer a 4-week rotational menu at the service that is developed from the five food groups and limits the foods that are high in saturated fats, added sugars and added salt. We always ensure our children will be getting the essential nutrients for good health, growth, and development.
Sustainability program
Our service is a small, homely family centre that is surrounded by beautiful natural environments that get children involved in sustainable experiences that enhance their knowledge, their care and their development towards positive attitudes and values on becoming part of a sustainable future.
Our rooms
Our centre provides education and care for age groups from 6 weeks to 5 years.
